Random Musings - Page 1
“The miracle of friendship speaks from one heart to another, listens for unspoken needs, recognizes secret dreams, and understands the silent things. Friends always pray for your happiness – hence they are a blessing in disguise.” As I pen my thoughts, how I wish I could express my emotions as creatively as the distinguished literary personalities who have graced this world to date; how I wish I could break the shackles of society and culture, or the erroneously perceived boundaries of social etiquette, and of useless traditions, and shout out aloud with all the freedom and courage of my heart; how I wish I were in a different time and place, free of commitments; so that I may continually and freely express my feelings. In my search for true friendship, I have spent considerable time trying to convince myself of the fact that human beings do have the heart to return love – that love begets love; yet, somehow, the effort seems in vain.
